Use MATLAB and Simulink to teach key areas in measurement and instrumentation, such as:

• Interfacing with data acquisition hardware for digital and analog I/O
• Interfacing with imaging hardware such as web-cams and frame grabbers
• Concepts of analog sampling such as quantization and aliasing
• Software control of laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, function generators and multimeters
