BEST Robotics is a middle-school and high-school competition that engages students in the study of engineering, science, and technology as they create remote-controlled robots. Student teams have six weeks to design and assemble a robot from a standard-issue kit of parts.

MathWorks, the 2011 National Corporate Partner, is supplying all teams with MATLAB, Simulink, and Simulink Support Package for BEST so that they can efficiently design, build, and program their BEST robots using Model-Based Design.
