How do I get a copy of the receipt for my online purchase? |
| Answer: |
Your receipt is available in the MathWorks Web store. Log in and choose "View My… Orders" from the menu on the left side. The order confirmation that will appear is your receipt. The charge will also appear on your credit card statement. We do not send out a separate receipt or invoice. If you need reimbursement for this item, you must submit the order confirmation with your credit card statement. |

I have not received my order. How can I find out the status? |
| Answer: |
You can locate the status of your order by using your order number on the student order look-up screen. You must be logged in to view orders. |

Can I return the MATLAB & Simulink Student Version product I purchased? |
| Answer: |
If you purchased the product from your campus bookstore, please return it there. (Please note many bookstores will not return or refund software that has been opened.)
If you purchased from the MathWorks Web store you must contact MathWorks customer service to return the product for a credit. The return must be made within 30 days of the date of purchase. Proof of purchase and return of all package materials is required. |

My CD is defective. How do I return it? |

If you purchased from your bookstore, please bring the product box, complete with all CDs and documentation, to the bookstore. The bookstore can replace it or order a new product for you.
If you purchased from the MathWorks Web store, please refer to our return policy. |

How do I return a toolbox I purchased? |

Companion products may not be returned once they have been downloaded from our site. |

Why do I receive the error "Certificate has expired for the number of downloads for this product" ? |

This message is an indication that you have tried to download the product to more than one computer. Each product is only licensed to be downloaded to a single computer. Every time you download a product, a unique machine ID is stored on the download server. Once you exceed the limit, it will no longer allow you to download onto a new computer.
Please be sure that you are not:
- Downloading onto lab computers
- Downloading onto friends' computers
- Sharing the smartcert.exe file
If these are not the cause of your problem, please contact MathWorks customer service and provide the following information:
- Your e-mail address
- Your MATLAB & Simulink Student Version order number
- A description of the problem
