Formula Student China: Gspeed Racing Team

The College of Automotive Engineering at Jilin University is an important base for training talent and conducting scientific research for China’s automotive industry. Vehicle engineering is the first and only national discipline in automotive dynamic simulation.

Established in 2009, the Gspeed Racing Team is one of the most important innovation projects at the College of Automotive Engineering. The team primarily consists of undergraduate students. Team values ─ cooperation, conscientiousness, and devotional spirit ─ are cultivated through designing, testing, machining, assembling, and debugging the racecar.

The Gspeed Racing Team uses MATLAB and Simulink to create vehicle models, especially the driveline, and to simulate real driving conditions.
