New features and changes introduced in this version are:

Certain Printer Formats and Drivers Now Warn When Used

Going forward, The MathWorks is planning to leverage existing operating system (OS) support for printer drivers and devices. As a result, the ability to specify certain print devices using the print -d command, and certain graphics formats using the print -d command and/or the saveas command, will be removed in a future release.

Handle Graphics Not Supported Under -nojvm Startup Option

If you start MATLAB with matlab -nojvm (which disables Java) you will receive a warning when you attempt to create or load figures, open GUIs, print or capture figures using getframe.
