New features and changes introduced in this version are
Data Analysis Collection Revised and Expanded
In this release, the MATLAB Data Analysis collection has been thoroughly
revised to improve content organization and flow. In addition, most
examples have been updated and streamlined.
Reference Pages for timeseries and tscollection Objects
Detailed reference pages are now available for timeseries and tscollection objects, properties, and methods. You can
access these reference pages in the Help contents, under Data Analysis in
the MATLAB Function Reference.
Text Files Can Be Imported In Time Series Tools
In Time Series Tools, you can now use the Import Wizard to import
data from text files, such as .csv, .dat, and .txt.
Linux 64 Platform Fully Enabled for Time Series Tools
Time Series Tools is now fully enabled on the Linux 64 platform.
Compatibility Considerations
On the Linux 64 platform, you no longer need to manually
enable the Time Series Tools feature before starting Time Series Tools
(as in MATLAB 7.1).
