datastream - Establish connections to Thomson^® Datastream^® API

Syntax

Connect = datastream('UserName', 'Password', 'Source', 'URL')

Arguments

Note   Thomson® assigns the values for you to enter for each argument. Enter all arguments as MATLAB® strings.

Description

Connect = datastream('UserName', 'Password', 'Source', 'URL') makes a connection to the Thomson Datastream API, which provides access to Thomson Datastream software content.

Examples

Establish a connection to the Thomson Datastream API:

Connect = datastream('User1','Pass1','Datastream',... 
'http://dataworks.thomson.com/Dataworks/Enterprise/1.0')
