Consider the following process as you prepare to use the Generate HDL dialog box to generate VHDL code for your quantized filter:
Assess whether the default settings meet your application requirements. If they do, skip to step 6.
Review the customization checklist available in What Are Your HDL Requirements? and identify required customizations.
Modify the Generate HDL dialog box options to address your application requirements, as described in the sections beginning with Setting the Target Language.
