Preparing Data
The following table summarizes the blocks you use to transfer
data between the MATLAB and Simulink environments.
After you add a block to the Simulink model, double-click
the block to specify block parameters. For an example of bringing
data into a Simulink model, see the tutorial on estimating process
models in the System Identification
Toolbox Getting Started Guide.
| Block | Description |

| IDDATA Sink | Export input and output signals to the MATLAB workspace
as an iddata object. |
| IDDATA Source | Import iddata object
from the MATLAB workspace. Input and output ports
of the block correspond to input and output signals of the data. These
inputs and outputs provide signals to blocks that are connected to
this data block. |
