deembedsparams - De-embed S-parameters from cascaded network

Syntax

s2_params = deembedsparams(s_params,s1_params,s3_params)

Description

s2_params = deembedsparams(s_params,s1_params,s3_params) derives the s2_params from the cascaded S-parameters s_params, by removing the effects of s1_params and s3_params. Use this function for de-embedding S-parameters obtained through measurement from the S-parameters of a Device Under Test (DUT).

The following diagram shows the cascade configuration.

Each of the input networks must be a 2-port network described by a 2-by-2-by-m array of S-parameters. All networks must have the same reference impedance. s_params must contain the S-parameters of the cascaded network of s1_params, s2_params, and s3_params. s2_params is a 2-by-2-by-m array. It contains the de-embedded S-parameters.
