This Getting Started guide provides an introduction to Signal Processing Toolbox software
and examples, which give you a quick start at using some of the commands
and graphical user interfaces. It is assumed that you have basic
knowledge and understanding of signals and systems, including such
topics as filter and linear system theory and basic Fourier analysis.
More detailed and advanced information on using the toolbox
is available in the online help system by typing doc at
the MATLAB command line or by viewing the documentation on the
MathWorks Web site (www.mathworks.com). The toolbox also includes a number
of introductory and advanced demos which you can access by typing demos at
the MATLAB command line.
