In previous releases, navigation in the Virtual Reality Toolbox viewer during recording caused MATLAB to hang. This is no longer a problem.
In a previous release, if you had the Virtual Reality Toolbox installed on a UNIX system, you could not use the opengl software command to force MATLAB to use only software OpenGL rendering. This is no longer a problem. See "Virtual Reality Toolbox and Graphics Cards Drivers" in the Virtual Reality Toolbox release note for more information on using OpenGL.
The Virtual Reality Toolbox installs with default preference settings. In previous releases, you could change these preference settings through the MATLAB command-line interface. Starting with this release, you can now also change Virtual Reality Toolbox, vrworld, and vrfigure preferences through the MATLAB desktop File -> Preferences dialog.
