Getting Started

This guide introduces you to Stateflow® software, an interactive, graphical design tool for developing and simulating event-driven systems based on finite-state machine theory.

To get up and running quickly, you will build and simulate a realistic Stateflow chart as part of a Simulink® model.

This guide is designed for users who have little or no experience with the Stateflow product, but who do have a basic knowledge of Simulink modeling and simulation software and MATLAB® technical computing software.

Introduction to the Stateflow ProductIntroduces you to the Stateflow product and a basic workflow for building a Stateflow chart.
The Stateflow Chart You Will BuildDescribes the Stateflow chart you will build in the context of a Simulink model.
