Code Generation For Embedded Targets Fails for Charts with
No Output Data
In this release, embedded code generation sometimes fails when
the model contains one or more Stateflow charts with no output
data, and one or more testpointed local data objects or states. The
error message displayed in the MATLAB Command Window has the
following signature:

The + operator
only works on numeric arguments
To work around this problem, create a dummy (unused) output
data object for the charts that have no output data.
