symengine - Choose symbolic engine

Syntax

symengine
s = symengine

Description

symengine brings up a GUI for choosing the MATLAB symbolic engine: a MuPAD engine or a Maple engine.

s = symengine returns the currently active symbolic engine.

Example

symengine

brings up the following GUI:

To see which symbolic computation engine is currently active, enter:

s = symengine

The result is:

s = 
MuPAD symbolic engine
