The BIOS settings of a PC system can affect how the PC works. If you experience problems using the xPC Target software with the target or host PC, you should check the system BIOS settings. These settings are beyond the control of the xPC Target product. See The xPC Target Software and the Target PC BIOS in the xPC Target Getting Started Guide.
Incorrect BIOS settings can cause questions like the following:
Why can getxpcpci detect PCI boards, but autosearch -l cannot?
Why can my stand-alone application run on some target PCs, but not others?
