get

Get Bloomberg connection properties

Syntax

• value = get(Connect, 'PropertyName')
  

Arguments

Connect	Bloomberg connection object created with the bloomberg command.
PropertyName	(optional) A MATLAB string or cell array of strings containing property names. Property names are: Connection IPAddress Port Socket Version

Description

value = get(Connect, 'PropertyName') returns a MATLAB structure containing the value of the specified properties for the Bloomberg connection object.

value = get(Connect) returns the value for all properties.

Examples

• c = bloomberg(8194,'111.222.33.444')
  

establishes a Bloomberg connection, c.

The command

• p = get(c, {'Port', 'IPAddress'})
  

returns

• p = 
       port: 8194
       ipaddress: 111.222.33.444
