Creating Signals Using Signal Generator Blocks

The DSP Sources library provides the following blocks for automatically generating common sample-based and frame-based signals:

• Chirp
• Discrete Impulse
• Multiphase Clock
• N-Sample Enable
• Sine Wave

One of the most commonly used of these is the Sine Wave block, which is discussed further in the example below. See Block Reference for a complete explanation of the other signal generation blocks. The Simulink Sources library offers a collection of continuous-time signal generation blocks that you may also find useful. Consult the Simulink documentation for more information.
