Birgit Schoeberl, Director, Merrimack Pharmaceuticals

Birgit Schoeberl is a Director at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals. Together with Dr. Ulrik Nielsen, she helped formulate Merrimack's research and development platform, Network Biology. She is currently leading the MM-121 project team. MM-121 is Merrimack’s first therapeutic that originated from the Network Biology platform. Dr. Schoeberl received an M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, a Ph.D. degree from the Max-Planck-Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, Magdeburg, Germany and was a post doctoral fellow with Douglas Lauffenburger and Peter Sorger at MIT.
