MathWorks Automotive Conference 2012

More than 250 attendees from leading automotive OEMs and suppliers in 12 countries joined MathWorks industry experts and partners at the MathWorks Automotive Conference 2012.

The automotive industry continues to face complexity challenges in the area of electrical and electronic (E/E) development, which has led to significant efforts in ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and other process improvement standards. At the same time, the multidisciplinary nature of modern applications that are covered by the buzzword e-mobility requires engineers from different domains to work more closely together, for example to develop hybrid or pure electrical vehicle powertrains or battery control technology.

At this biannual event, presenters from both automotive OEMs and suppliers demonstrate how they applied technical computing and Model-Based Design using MATLAB^® and Simulink^®. Attendees had the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss successful implementations of their complex projects.
