Simulink for Teaching Signal Processing: Bridging Theory and Practice - PreConference Session
Seminar Overview
|
Simulink is a graphical tool that enables visual design and simulation of signal processing systems. The use of Simulink models as an alternative to, or in conjunction with MATLAB, can significantly enhance student learning experiences. Participants will learn how to build and simulate models for signal processing systems, employ them for teaching in classroom environments and implement systems on hardware using Real-Time Workshop tools. The hands-on activities in this workshop will involve building pedagogic models to demonstrate signal processing applications. Although part of the presentation is geared towards educators, researchers looking to build and implement real-world signal processing systems should also benefit from this workshop. |
