Modeling Physical Systems and Building Real-Time HIL Simulations

Seminar Overview

Parter logos

Please join us for this complimentary, all-day seminar.  Using instructive case studies, engineers from The MathWorks and MathWorks partners will show how you can use desktop and real-time simulation to help reduce the cost and time to develop embedded control systems.  Demonstrations will show how to model physical systems, for the purpose of improving control algorithm design.  You will see how to find costly design errors early using real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation.  This seminar will explain proven design approaches that have made positive impacts on how industrial equipment, automotive, and aerospace companies develop control systems.

Thank you for your interest in MathWorks Seminars. There are no dates currently scheduled for this Seminar. For more information on our seminars and products contact MathWorks sales or please visit:

Who Should Attend

  • Systems engineers
  • Software engineers
  • Integration engineers
  • Engineering managers interested in process improvement and in optimizing their product development cycles

Seminar Highlights

MathWorks engineers will show you how to:

  • Build intuitive system-level models quickly and easily
  • Model and optimize both the controller and plant in the Simulink® environment
  • Develop and correlate multidomain physical models for fluid control systems, vehicle driveline, and electric motor drives
  • Balance simulation speed and model fidelity
  • Build and deploy real-time systems using Simulink and Stateflow®
  • Execute models in a real-time environment on a PC platform using Real-Time Workshop® and xPC Target™
  • Reuse plant models that emulate hardware to perform HIL testing

You will also see presentations and demos from MathWorks partners ADI, Opal-RT, Vector, and Pathway Technologies.
