Technical Computing with MATLAB and Simulink
Case Study: Complete Robot Arm Position Control System
Using a real-world case study that involves the development of a system to control a robot arm position, this seminar will discuss how to develop algorithms, generate reports, and create GUIs in MATLAB;
model dynamic systems in Simulink; design feedback controllers to optimize system performance; and generate C code from the Simulink design to run on a microprocessor. For those users with exclusive
interests in MATLAB or Simulink, these sessions are designed to function independently.

Introduction to MATLAB
• Data acquisition and analysis
• Algorithm development and deployment
• GUI development

Modeling and Simulation with Simulink
• Introduction to Simulink
• Modeling dynamic systems
• Feedback control design
• Implementing a controller using a microprocessor
• Rapid prototyping using xPC Target
• Verification and validation techniques
