Image and Video Processing with MATLAB

Discover how MATLAB software helps engineers and scientists create robust image and video processing, and computer vision solutions. Learn how to access image and video data, perform thorough analyses, develop unique algorithms, and visualize results.

Specific demonstrations will cover what's new and show you how to:

  • Read and write image and video files
  • Access live video data from image acquisition hardware
  • Perform typical pre-processing on images and video
  • Process arbitrarily large images using block processing workflows
  • Perform feature detection, classification, object detection and tracking
  • Improve performance with Parallel Computing Toolbox

You will also see how you can use MathWorks tools for parallel computing to:

  • Speed up computation by distributing long-running calculations
  • Process large amounts of data by distributing the data
  • Leverage multiple cores on your computer or scale up to utilize clusters, grids, and clouds
