Recorded Webinar: Analog and Mixed-Signal Circuit Modeling with the Simulink Product Family

In a typical development flow with Model-Based Design, you build and validate an executable specification (called a model) of a prospective product and its test environment, and then base your design on it. The goal of this type of modeling is to catch errors early, when they are cheaper to fix, by eliminating specifications that "look good on paper."
The Simulink product family lets you model many types of behavior (called domains), such as control systems, physical systems, and discrete-time signal processing. This recorded webinar covers one physical domain: analog circuits. You can model analog behavior in Simulink using Laplace (s-domain) representation. SimPowerSystems lets you model circuits by schematic capture and a state-space circuit analysis.
Examples will include wireless communication systems with:
- Phase-locked loops
- Sigma-delta ADCs
- Carrier and symbol-timing recovery using a numerically controlled oscillator
