In this webinar, we will explore how MATLAB® and Image Processing Toolbox can be used for color image processing. Achieving accurate color processing and representation requires an understanding of the color observer model, the various methods by which color accuracy can be measured, and how color is represented in input and output devices. MATLAB and Image Processing Toolbox provide a great environment for performing color analysis, developing color image processing algorithms, and creating customized tools.
Through product demonstrations, you will learn how to:
- Accurately represent color independent of an input or output device
- Perform device-dependent color conversions using ICC profiles
- Assess the accuracy of adjustments to color image data
- Design appropriate image processing algorithms for color images
- Develop customized tools using the MATLAB environment
The event will be presented by Bruce Tannenbaum, technical marketing manager for image processing applications, and Steve Eddins, manager of the Image and Geospatial development team at The MathWorks. Steve also writes a weekly blog on Image Processing (http://blogs.mathworks.com/steve/) and coauthored the book Digital Image Processing Using MATLAB.
