Recorded Webinar: Implementation and Verification on TI DSPs with Link for Code Composer Studio++ 3.0

Complete this request form for immediate access to this webinar and other recorded webinars

Link for Code Composer Studio 3.0, released as part of MathWorks R2007a, is the latest update to the MathWorks product that bridges MATLAB®, Simulink®, and Real-Time Workshop® with Code Composer Studio integrated development and environment (IDE) from Texas Instruments. Link for Code Composer Studio lets engineers verify embedded code running on Code Composer Studio using MATLAB and generate complete Code Composer Studio projects, including DSP and BIOS and memory map files, from Simulink models for rapidly prototyping and verifying signal processing, communications, and control algorithms on TI DSPs. This webinar provides a high-level overview of all the major capabilities related to the implementation and verification of algorithms on the three main families of TI DSPs – C2000, C55xx, and C6000.

Through a series of product demonstrations, you will see how to use MATLAB, Simulink, and Real-Time Workshop to:

  • Create complete Code Composer Studio projects to rapidly prototype your systems on Texas Instruments DSPs
  • Use processor-in-the-loop simulation to automatically generate embedded DSP executable code that can then be tested and verified from the same Simulink model as a test bench
  • Profile the generated code running on the processor to identify bottlenecks
  • Create test benches in MATLAB and Simulink to automate testing of embedded code executing on the DSP or a simulator through a Code Composer Studio project

This webinar will be useful for people who have used MATLAB and/or Simulink and are currently working with Code Composer Studio implementing signal processing, communications, and controls algorithms on a C2000, C5000, or C6000.
