An overview of MATLAB and MathWorks products will be provided first, including a description of how MathWorks products are installed and licensed. Administrators will learn about how the Parallel Computing Toolbox enables users to take advantage of parallelism on their desktops.
The next section will describe how parallel MATLAB programs run on clusters of computers by using the MATLAB Distributed Computing Server. The hardware, software, and licensing aspects of running parallel MATLAB code on clusters will be explained.
