Recorded Webinar: MATLAB for Microarray Analysis

Complete this request form for immediate access to this webinar and other recorded webinars

In the field of Bioinformatics, Microarray analysis is used to measure gene expression and detect single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). Microarray chips are also referred to as Gene Chip’s and consists of a block of glass or silica impregnated with substrate spotted on the surface (micro spots) to which a target binds. Binding is measured by fluorescence and the data used for identifying gene expression. Normalization of data is essential for managing the intra and inter signal variation across the area of a chip and between batches. Microarray experiments generate large volumes of data which can be readily imported into MATLAB for subsequent analysis.
