Recorded Webinar: Model-Based Design for Hybrid Electric Powertrain Systems
Complete this request form for immediate access to this webinar and other recorded webinars
A hybrid electric powertrain has better fuel economy and less impact on the environment, compared to a powertrain using traditional gas or diesel. As a result, the electrification of the powertrain has become an important trend in the automotive and commercial vehicle industries. However, the technical challenges in developing a hybrid electric powertrain system are significant. Not only is a hybrid powertrain system complex, but since its many subsystems such as the power converter, motor, and battery are designed specifically for a hybrid powertrain, complex control algorithms must also be developed in parallel to the development of the mechanical and electrical hardware.
In this webinar, MathWorks engineers will show how Model-Based Design can address these complexity and parallel development needs through executable specification, design with simulation, and continuous verification.
