The MathWorks actively supports the following organizations:
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
Dana
Farber offers comprehensive family-centered services for children (through
age 18) with suspected or diagnosed cancer, or who are at high risk
for cancer. Through a long-standing collaboration between Dana-Farber
Cancer Institute and Children's Hospital, outpatient care for children
is provided at Dana-Farber's Jimmy Fund Clinic, and inpatient care and
pediatric subspecialty consultation is provided at Children's Hospital.
The MathWorks supports these efforts via Jimmy Fund volunteer events:
The Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge and the Pan-Mass Challenge.

Jeannie Lindheim's Hospital Clown Troupe
Jeannie Lindheim's Hospital Clown Troupe is a nonprofit
charitable organization that provides all of its clowning services
for free. The troupe consists of 37 professionally trained adult volunteer
clowns, and are dedicated to bringing children happiness--one clown
at a time. They have clowned for thousands of children and are the only professionally trained volunteer
adult clown troupe in the United States. 75 percent of the troupe's activities
involve hospital visits and 25 percent are for parties with children who are
ill. The troupe also clowns for fundraisers for
worthy causes.
Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
Up to 75 percent of the funds raised by this organization return
to the community that raised them, through
local breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs. Remaining net income (a minimum of 25 percent) supports the Komen Foundation Award and Research Grant Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, meritorious awards and educational and scientific programs around the world.

American Diabetes Association
The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading nonprofit
health organization providing diabetes research, information, and advocacy.
Founded in 1940, it was reorganized in 1969 to increase its ability
to serve the public. Today, staff and volunteers in more than 800 communities
conduct programs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The
mission of the organization is to prevent and cure diabetes, and to
improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. To fulfill this
mission, the American Diabetes Association funds, research, and publishes
scientific findings, and provides information and other services to
people with diabetes, their families, health care professionals and
the public.

Greater Boston Chapter of the National Spinal Cord Injury Association
The Greater Boston Chapter of NSCIA works to empower, inspire, and support individuals and their families affected by spinal cord injury and paralysis throughout Massachusetts. GBC provides high quality support, access to resources, vital information, peer visitors, advocacy, and educational information. From the moment of injury, GBC provides one-on-one services to the newly injured and those around them as they learn to cope with dramatic change and adjust to post-injury life.
