Job Summary

The Director of Compensation, Benefits and HRIS will be responsible for leading efforts in planning, development, and administration of MathWorks global compensation and benefits strategies and practices.



Responsibilities

  • Designing new C&B programs that are innovative and on the cutting edge.
  • Providing thorough and detailed compensation and benefits evaluations and analyses on an ongoing and annual basis.
  • Administration and evolution of a company wide, quarterly bonus program.
  • Management of HRIS function.
  • Providing guidance to line managers and HR Business Partners on compensation administration, procedures/policies, equity analysis, and staff communications, etc.
  • Manage administration and record-keeping of health and welfare plans, 401(k) plan, leave policies, affirmative action/EEO reporting, and fitness and wellness center.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation and benefit laws and regulations. Keep informed of new developments and disseminate the information as necessary.
  • Manage relations with broker, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Manage vendor selection as necessary.
  • Managing a staff of three (compensation analyst, benefits analyst, HR administrator), this position reports to the VP of HR.
  • This is a hands-on position that requires day-to-day interaction with managers and staff, evaluating new positions, and administration and education regarding pay practices.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of compensation, benefits, and HRIS experience, preferably in a high-tech industry
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Specific experience with sales compensation, executive compensation, and international compensation is required.
  • Working knowledge of FMLA, ERISA, HIPAA, ADA, and FLSA.
  • BA/BS degree in a related field.
  • Proven track record aligning the compensation program with a progressive environment and designing and delivering new programs.
  • Also required are strong quantitative skills, written communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to innovate.
  • Strong project management experience and effective organizational skills.
  • Experience with ADP Enterprise a plus.
