Job Summary

Reporting to the VP of Global HR, the Director of HR Europe will be responsible for management of human resources for Europe. The position has primary responsibility for all human resources functions, including Recruiting, Employee Relations, Training, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, and Administration.

Responsibilities

Leading a team of HR generalists, responsibilities include ongoing analysis to assess practices, strategic program development, creation of policies and procedures, support of company values and culture, support of HR legal requirements, compilation and analysis of HR metrics, and project management. Partnering with the Managing Directors in each country's office, the Director will act as the Business Partner to coach management and support the achievement of business results.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of generalist experience, including business partner/Organizational Development support role.
  • 8+ years of management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach management teams and assume a hands-on role in all human resources functions.
  • Demonstrated ability at leading and driving implementations of HR processes and initiatives by using effective project management skills at the Pan-European level.
  • Ability to work effectively with remote organizations and strong teamwork skills.
  • Experience in a high tech industry and for a global company is essential.
  • Deep knowledge of European legal and statutory requirements and/or strong network of contacts.
  • Frequent travel is required.
  • English is required as well as at least one other European language.
  • Experience with APLA a plus.
  • Preference for location is Central Europe.
