SimBiology® extends MATLAB® with tools for modeling, simulating, and analyzing biochemical pathways. By joining the Systems Biology team you will be working on a cutting edge modeling and simulation platform used by leading biotech, and pharmaceutical companies all over the world. The ideal candidate will have experience developing scientific software for the Biotech, and Pharmaceutical industries. This person must be passionate about cutting edge technology as well as having a focused interest in developing biochemical systems software.
Responsibilities
Help conceptualize, architect, implement, and maintain the SimBiology modeling and simulation platform.
Help extend SimBiology’s capabilities with analysis techniques such as bifurcation and metabolic control as well as with more software oriented capabilities such as database integration.
Qualifications
M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, science or applied math
Focused experience developing software for biochemical systems analysis
Software must have been developed using C++
Successful work experience operating within a process oriented development environment
Extensive experience with complex algorithm design
Knowledge of MATLAB, SimBiology, or other biochemical simulation technology
Experience with statistical and data driven modeling approaches are plusses
