Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive individual to market our design and simulation products for software systems modeling. Our wide array of products, built on the successful Simulink platform, enable engineers to intuitively model, simulate, and test complex systems for control, signal processing and communications applications. You will be responsible for technical product marketing for products related to embedded software and systems modeling. This is your opportunity to leverage your experience in the growing engineering community that uses Simulink. Join our technical marketing team and help us set the trends for embedded systems development in engineering and science worldwide.
Responsibilities
• Identify new market opportunities for existing products and proactively develop programs to pursue these.• Conceptualize and develop worldwide marketing programs focused on your product area.
• Plan and manage focused competitive analysis for your product area and develop positioning and response.
• Produce technical papers, demos, articles, and user stories in support of the product area.
• Measure sales and pricing effectiveness for your products, initiate and develop plans to enhance penetration and growth.
• Partner with sales teams in support of sales opportunities and major programs for your product area.
• Collaborate with key customers and thought leaders to identify and define new product requirements.
• Drive development of new products and features working closely with the Engineering staff.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of software architecture modeling or embedded systems development. He or she must also possess the following:
• excellent verbal and written communications skills
• solid quantitative ability
• strong overall marketing, research, and planning skills and
• excellent customer interaction skills
Requirements include a degree in a relevant engineering, computer science or in a scientific field, and at least 5+ years of professional experience (including 2+ years in marketing or technical sales).
