This position offers you the opportunity to work as part of a small but high-energy team of Quality Engineers focused on improving the quality of our products. As a member of the QE team, you will participate on projects from the early stages through final release, working closely with counterparts in the Development, Documentation, and Technical Support departments.

Ideal candidates are team players demonstrating organization, an eye for detail, strong communication skills and a commitment to getting things done.

Responsibilities

• Create Test Plans & Procedures for testing our integration with various job schedulers such as LSF, CCS, PBS, Condor, and SGE
• Develop automated test suites based upon functional and design specifications using MATLAB and other programming languages
• Participate in design, code and architectural reviews
• Execute interactive tests, report bugs detected, verify fixes and perform product release validation
• Work closely with fellow team members to develop, enhance and maintain tools and infrastructure for our automated test suites
• Assist in developing and maintaining the High Productivity Computing lab

Qualifications

• BS / MS in engineering, computer science, or related area
• Demonstrated experience in a programming language (M, C++, Java etc) is required
• Knowledge of PC and UNIX / Mac environments
• Exposure to various job schedulers such as LSF, CCS, PBS, SGE, etc. is highly desired
• Familiarity with Distributed / Parallel Computing in a plus
• Quality Engineering / Testing experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
