This person will mainly deliver The MathWorks product and application specific training to customers mainly in Germany. Primary areas of instruction beside The MathWorks products include simulation, control design and code generation as well as numerical analysis and modeling. Training courses may be off-the shelf offerings or may be adapted to customers' needs.
Responsibilities
The Training Engineer is mainly responsible for providing basic, advanced and application focused product-training courses to users of The MathWorks products. Specific activities include researching industry and application specific concepts, maintain course content, delivering courses on multiple products, providing appropriate feedback to our development and sales organizations, and identifying course improvements based on student evaluations.
Qualifications
MS in Engineering or Science (BS with at least 2 years of experience) or similar.
Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink or similar products.
Knowledge in model based design, or control design, or physical modeling.
Good knowledge of C programming.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
First-hand experience in either the automotive or aerospace industries is a plus.
Fluent written and spoken German and English are essential, good knowledge in a third European language is a plus.
