Job Summary

Simulink, Stateflow and Real-Time Workshop products are driving Model-Based Design and code generation for today's sophisticated and safety-critical embedded systems. We are looking for a highly motivated code warrior, with no prejudice to language, to evolve the backend component of our code generation technology.

Responsibilities

As an energetic and innovative thinker you will participate and drive the design and evolution of the code generation backend. You will leverage your software architecture skills to lead the implementation of a significant software architecture refactoring project. You will define and oversee implementation approaches for new product capabilities and technologies within this component. With your skill and experience in software development, you will:

Be the steward for the backend code generation technology, ensuring your vision for this component is implemented

Prepare and present design specifications

Coordinate the work across multiple teams

Author efficient, modular and maintainable code

Write unit tests and proactively address bugs

Qualifications

• MS or Ph.D in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
• Strong C/C++, Perl and scripting language experience
• Experience with large-scale code bases, with a desire to dive in and understand existing code
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality code
• Experience with compilers is a plus
• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink is a plus
