Job Summary

Maximize sales of The MathWorks products and services to existing customers as well as new prospects in the defined territory. The person will work closely with local and international marketing and technical experts to bring the full range of The MathWorks product and service offerings to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Achievement of revenue targets; New Product Sales (NPS), Software Maintenance and Services (Training and Consulting).

• Develop relationships within existing customers as well as growing new customers

• Rigorously follow up and prioritize all qualified leads provided by marketing or sales support; energetically prospect for new business opportunities within the defined territory.

• Work closely with local and international marketing and technical experts to bring the full range of The MathWorks product and service offerings to our customers.

• Develop and manage a funnel of activities

• Accurately Forecast business and activities within the territory

• Raise coverage and position of The MathWorks within the territory

• Document and report sales activities using an advanced CRM tool


Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in an engineering, Science or Business discipline.
• 4-6 years of effective solution selling experience to an industry vertical such as Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Equipment, or Communications.
• Demonstrated experience to balance volume and strategic sales
• Highly analytical but balanced with commercial selling ability and strong negotiation skills.
• Should have experience in selling to Senior Executives and Department Heads
• Self-motivated and goal driven, creative, high-energy and a strong team player.
• Strong work ethics and organized, quick learner
