Job Summary

The North America Marketing Programs Manager will drive the lead generation component of The MathWorks marketing strategy. This person will lead and manage a team of 16 people who implement, measure, monitor, and optimize lead generating programs with the goal of driving sufficient leads and opportunities to the sales organization. Direct areas of responsibility include: Direct Mail, Webinars, Seminars, Conferences, Trade Shows, Partner Events, Sales Programs, and Email.

Responsibilities

The successful individual will be an experienced marketing programs manager who has demonstrated success at delivering marketing campaign initiatives and has shown tangible results. Additionally this person will be analytical in nature and be aggressive at measuring and optimizing results. He/she will be fiscally responsible and accountable for a sizable marketing budget.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience delivering tangible results through multi-faceted marketing programs
• 10 + years of experience managing a team of people including managers
• Proven ability to leverage software technology such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM applications to run their business
• Solid problem solving skills
• Strong budgeting and expense management skills
• Experience in high tech industry is preferred
• Excellent communications skills
• Knowledge of software industry is desirable
• Bachelors Degree Marketing or Businesses required and MBA desirable
