Job Summary

An opportunity now exists at The MathWorks for an experienced web project manager to drive online profile management initiatives for the applicable areas of our corporate sites. Profile management will include ownership of the MathWorks Account login and profile management application as well as any contact and account form usage on the corporate sites that manages and passes contact and account data to and from our enterprise business systems. Projects involve coordinating the production of business analysis, design, usability, editorial, development and QE.

This position requires an expert in project management and business analysis, responsible for the execution and delivery of solutions on time, within scope and quality. The position also requires strong relationship management, communication, and problem solving skills, and the ability to prioritize changing workloads to influence, coordinate, and negotiate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Web Strategy team to formulate and execute annual project plans, develop timelines, and determine and obtain resources required
• Drive the execution of annual project plans for the MathWorks Account area and other contact and account data management applications
• Determine and communicate business priorities among the possible development efforts.
• Act as the primary liaison to all constituencies throughout the project lifecycle
• Document business requirements, use cases, communication plans, etc.
• Create, edit, design review and obtain approval for the project's business plan
• Help to coordinate and participate in usability testing, copy editing and design
• Be the liaison to IT System Analysts. Coordinate with them to establish and track milestones throughout development
• Identify, research, and resolve business issues
• Monitor and communicate the project's milestones and schedule.
• Obtain resources outside the eMarketing team when necessary
• Conduct design reviews and coordinate review feedback for all projects
• Roll out new initiatives and conduct training to all affected constituencies in and outside the company
• Establish maintenance plans once projects are completed

Qualifications

• B.A. /B.S. in Business
• 5-10 years of business analysis/project management experience in a web team environment
• Experience with profile management related teams and applications a plus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience leading large cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrate integrity, promoting teamwork and fostering positive communication
• Working knowledge of database structure and programming languages (Java, SQL, HTML and XML)
• MATLAB experience a plus
• CRM and/or Siebel experience a plus
