The rapidly expanding European operation has opened offices in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Job Opportunity: To support this growth we are looking to employ a Geographical Account Manager. This role will focus on developing further our existing relationships as well as focusing on new business activities. 

Your Profile: In addition to being a successful Account Manager, you will also be a "Hunter". Supported by a dedicated Pre and Post Sales Technical Team, based out of Kista, Sweden, you will be responsible for sales activities within a give sales territory. It is envisaged that the territory initially will be Sweden South.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships within existing accounts
  • Generate new name business by phone and via customer visits
  • Develop and manage a funnel of activity
  • Raise coverage and position of The MathWorks within the territory
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical and sales teams
  • Document and report sales activities using an advanced CRM tool
  • Be prepared to travel throughout the territory.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of direct technical sales experience required
  • Proven sales track record
  • Fluent communication in Swedish and English, both written and orally
