Job Summary

You will work as part of a high-energy and talented startup team located in Bangalore, India focusing on developing and enhancing core features of Simulink.

Responsibilities

As a senior software engineer working on the core features of Simulink, you will be responsible for all stages of software development including requirements specifications, architecture, design, implementation, and testing. Strong communication and inter personal skills are a must to establish close working relationships with teams across various locations especially the US.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering or other related engineering field
• Expert knowledge of C and C++ on UNIX and Windows (you must have a very high level of coding proficiency, and be comfortable working with a large, complex code base)
• 5+ years of experience with the complete software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements to implementation, testing, and release (must have a proven track record of delivering)
• 3+ years of experience working on the front end of desktop applications
• Prior knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink are pluses
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be self motivated, able to work independently as well as on multi-person development teams
• Must have a passion for developing world class software that touches millions of people
