The Automotive Sales Manager for Japan is based in Tokyo and will lead The MathWorks direct sales efforts in the mission critical Japanese automotive market. The Automotive Sales Manager will work closely with other automotive focused resources and staff both within the MathWorks Japan and Natick. The Automotive Sales Manager will be expected to take part in internal sales management & industry focused meetings, spend a great deal of time in the field visiting customers, and closely manage sales funnel/forecasting responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop, update, and oversee Account Plans for all major customers in the industry.
Work with sales organization, ensuring that all sales staff are adequately trained and qualified to represent and sell The MathWorks family of products.
Contribute to the creation and implementation of annual and long term plans for the automotive industry in Japan, while contributing to the direction and execution of strategic activities such as J-MAAB and MATLAB Expo.
Qualifications
More than 3 years experience in a sales management role and 5 to 10 years of business experience
