Data Tools

Job Summary

You will be working with the engineering teams developing the MATLAB Data Tools.  These tools, which include the Workspace Browser, Variable Editor, Import, and others, are used extensively to import, edit, and explore data in MATLAB.

Your responsibilities will be to extend and improve these UIs.  Tasks will include adding support for additional MATLAB types, new functionality, writing design documents, fixing defects, and testing code.

We are looking for energetic individuals who love writing software and have a passion for developing creative UIs.

Qualifications Required / Preferred

• Excellent Java
• Excellent coding and debugging skills
• Familiar Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
• Good project management skills
• Good written and verbal skills
• Knowledge of MATLAB is a plus
