Application Deployment Content Specialist/Technical Writer

Job Summary

We are looking for talented individuals who like working with software tools and finding creative ways to show how our application deployment products enable distribution of individual algorithms or complete applications.

Responsibilities

• Write user-focused online content that explains key workflows and solutions to our end users
• Develop examples and tutorials to show how to deploy our software
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop our application deployment products
• Identify missing topics and fill gaps in existing information
• Participate in the development of application deployment products, review software requirements and functional designs, provide comments and suggest improvements
• Help MathWorks develop next generation online resources

Qualifications Required / Preferred

• Bachelor's degree
• Technical writer with 3+ years experience writing for a programming/engineering audience.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and HTML-based online documentation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft .NET and experience with Java and Web development a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong writing skills
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Outgoing, highly organized, persistent, flexible and able to focus on long term goals
