Job Summary
This position is for a tools development team within the Website and Cloud Operations Group and focused on tools for continuous build, test and deployment automation. The primary challenge is implementing end-to-end dependency management within the context of automating our system provisioning. This position will develop and implement tools that support our external website presence and our cloud based product offerings. The candidate will work with both development and infrastructure admin teams.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading the design and development of tools, both command line and web based, that are continuously building, testing and deploying software to production clouds.
- Providing ongoing leadership of the design and development of frameworks, tools and extensions for the monitoring of development and production systems.
- Preparing and conducting architectural and operational training for your tools, to developers and administrators.
- Being a quick and adaptive learner, who is able to integrate disparate technologies.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 3 or more years’ experience working in an IT or product development organization.
- Web application development experience (examples: Grails, Spring, Struts, Ruby on Rails, PHP, Perl, JavaScript, jQuery, REST, SOAP)
- Experience working with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.

- Web and application server experience (examples: Apache, Glassfish, WebLogic, Tomcat)
- Continuous integration, build, test and deployment system experience (examples: Jenkins, Hudson, TeamCity or AnthillPro)
- Amazon EC2 or VMware virtual tools experience
- Monitoring and alerting systems experience (examples include: Nagios, Tivoli, OpenView)
- Log collection and analysis for Service Level Agreement compliance experience (Splunk, LogRhythm or SumoLogic).
