C++ Performance Quality Engineer
Job Summary
The Design Automation Studio Performance Quality Engineer is responsible for developing performance test suites and monitoring performance metrics for the Simulink and Stateflow User Interfaces. As a member of the development team, candidate will interact closely with the performance engineering team to identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
Responsibilities
Specific tasks will include: using in house performance test harness and implementing automated tests in MATLAB, working with engineering to instrument product code with testing hooks in C++, maintaining performance metrics for Simulink and Stateflow UI product areas and troubleshooting performance alarms.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- MS or BS with 3 Years industry experience in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
- Programming experience in MATLAB/C and C++/Java is required.
- Familiarity with performance analysis tools like GlowCode, VTune or Valgrind
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
