C++ Quality Engineer - Graphical Editors
Job Summary
The Graphical Editors Core Infrastructure QE is responsible for developing automated test suites and conducting hands-on testing of the underpinnings of the Simulink and Stateflow User Interfaces. As a member of the development team, the candidate will participate in a project from its early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final product release. Candidate with creative, problem solving skills will thrive in this position.
Responsibilities
As an individual contributor in the QE department, the candidate will work closely with the Development, Documentation and Usability teams. Specific tasks will include:
- Participation in feature definitions;
- Working with development engineers to design in testability into infrastructure code
- Implementing testing APIs in MATLAB and C++
- Creating and executing the interactive test plans on multiple platforms
- Reporting bugs using an in-house bug tracking system.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a master's degree, or a PhD degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Programming experience in MATLAB/C and C++/Java
- Familiarity with UML / Metamodeling concepts
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Design
- Good written and verbal communication skills
