C++ Software Engineer - API Design
Job Summary
Do you strive for elegant software architecture? Do you enjoy tinkering with a code base for perfection? We have just the right job for you. Your mission is to design and implement robust APIs that can aid both internal teams and external customers in extending our modeling and coder products. We are looking for a motivated C++ software engineer who enjoys programming and tackling challenging software problems.
Responsibilities
You'll need to quickly understand our code base and feature sets in the code generation area. You will demonstrate your software design and programming skills by developing rich, robust APIs. You are required to participate in all aspects of software development with enthusiasm: collecting requirements, writing specification, coding, testing and supporting key customers.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or other closely related field, or a Bachelor of Science degree with at least 3 years of commercial/industrial software development experience.
- Practical C++ experience.
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design principles.
- Strong communication skills and a high energy level.
- Strong abstraction, algorithmic, and software design skills.
- Knowledge and experience in API design is a big plus.
